Greenhorn Creek Advisory Board Meeting – August 13, 2026

Roll Call: Jim Dinwiddie, Chad Jackson, Brenda Wolfe, Cat Horvath, Gregg Smith, Peggy  Chambers, John Pierotti, Barbara Reid, Pat Trinchero; absent: Dennis Follain, Tom  Wrightson; visitors: Ray & Becky Romero 

Opening Comments: Jim Dinwiddie, Facilitator 

Jim welcomed Chad to the meeting and gave a brief history and goals of the Board.  Introductions were made of each attendee which their backgrounds in the GC  community. 

Greenhorn Creek Management: Chad Jackson, VP Operations 

Chad stated his background in the Food/Beverage business as well as in the Golf  business. 

The structure of management was discussed with the department managers  appointed to each area. Any questions or concerns should be directed to these  individuals instead of direct communication with a service employee. These  managers are: Ashley-Clubhouse Manager, Josh Criswell- Pro Shop & Golf, Lucy Food & Beverage, Diane-Events. Concerns about the golf course maintenance  should be made to Josh who will then speak with Tim-Superintendent. 

Chad announced that the new menu is in effect and the staff is working on service  time and quality. 

The golf course maintenance crew is working on deferred maintenance issues in the  areas of greens, tee boxes, and irrigation. 

The Marketing Department is publishing The Nugget which gives up-to-date  information on the status of GCR. In the current issue there is the new menu,  membership packet, and a video of a greens micro-tine machine.

Social Committee: Cat Horvath, Chairman 

A Halloween Party is being planned for members of the community at a private  residence. 

Chad indicated that that he would be receptive to working with the Social  Committee in creating events with the understanding there would be a fee to cover  GHC costs. There would not be a room charge. 

He was also open to allowing use of the Fireside Room for Pilates. There would be a  nominal sharing of the class fees collected. Additional conversation would need to take place to finalize the use of the area. 

Men’s Club: Gregg Smith, President 

Currently there are 150 members. 

GCWGA: Peggy Chambers, Captain 

The Association held the Annual meeting on Tuesday, August 11 and the slate of  officers for 2027 was announced. 

Currently there are 72 members. 

The Club Championship will be held in September, and the Ace of the Year will be  played in October. 

Design Review: John Pierotti, Chairman 

Design/Review Monthly Update… August 2026 GHC DRC Members… John Pierotti, Rob Wells, Barbara Reid 

New Build/Construction Applications…Phase 1,2,3 only.  Phase 4 Seasons… No Oversight currently. 

Eudy. Albasio Ct Compliant/Approved Lot 165 Smith Flat Non-Compliant 

Lot 505 Connell Seasons…No review Lot 481 Blair Mine No Review (Seasons)

900 Selkirk Ranch rd No Review/Non-Compliant 

** Letter sent to Sierra Management regarding proper care of lot 122 in center of Northstar Loop. 

**Letter and phone call sent to Tim Bottomley regarding proper care of his home rental on Northstar Loop. Corrected. 

New Resident Complaints/Violations…  

677 Smith Flat… landscaping in bad shape. Both owners have passed away. DRC will correct. Corrected 

LLD: Jim Dinwiddie, Representative 

A map is being drawn to show GHC and LLD areas of responsibility. Currently they are working on fire safety. The Fire Marshall and the Committee are concentrating on areas that need attention. 

No new projects have been scheduled.
